Day 1 - Arusha
Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Rivertrees Country Inn to relax and start off your Safari. Enjoy the beautiful pool with an amazing view on Mount Meru, fantastic food and wonderful walks through the coffee plantation and surrounding flower fields. In the afternoon (if you have time) you can enjoy a fantastic game drive in Arusha National park seeing zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, reedbucks, klipspringers, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, mongeese, dik-diks, warthogs, baboons and colobus monkeys. Then return for dinner. (Excursion to Arusha NP at additional cost and not included in quote).

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive to the Tarangire National Park - internationally known for the big elephant herds, pythons and unusual antelopes (Beisa-Pryx Antelopes) as well as for its diverse bird presence. On the drive from Arusha you will stop at a beautiful site for a picnic lunch and arrive at the luxury mobile camp; Oliver's Camp in time for early evening drinks followed by dinner.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park
All day spent with safari activities such as game drives, walking and/or fly safaris, with camping in the Tarangire National Park.

Day 4 - Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast depart towards Lake Manyara National Park where you will enjoy a wonderful picnic lunch and if you are lucky, see the famous tree-climbing lions, amazing birdlife, hippos, elephants and flamingos. From Lake Manyara you will drive to the Plantation Lodge situated in Karatu (a short drive from Lake Manyara) in time for a relaxing sundowner at the pool overlooking the coffee fields.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area including Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater known as the eighth wonder of the world. You will experience the most amazing geological site and enjoy a lot of wildlife during your tour. If you are lucky you will see the BIG FIVE inside the crater. A crater rim walk can be arranged if wanted (additional cost). After your meal at a special Ngorongoro picnic site, boasting a great view, you will drive back to your lodge for dinner.

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park
In the months June -November:After breakfast you will be transferred to Manyara airstrip for the flight Manyara - Kogatende. At Kogatende you will be picked up by a Sayari Camp guide and brought to camp with a game drive enroute. This stylish camp offers the ideal setting to watch the world famous nature spectacular - the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River - including the hungry crocodiles waiting for one of the weaker wildebeest to fall. (River crossings not guaranteed!)
Should you be travelling in the months December - March:
After breakfast drive from the Plantation Lodge to the amazing Moru Kopjes inside the Serengeti National Park. On the drive you may already see a lot of fabulous game - but wait until you have reached the Moru Kopjes - here you have direct access to the regions where the wildebeest migration is said to gather during the months December - March. If you are travelling in February you might even be able to watch wildebeest give birth to the next generation.

Day 7 - Serengeti National Park
Spent in the Serengeti on the look-out for the most amazing wildlife inside Tanzania's biggest National Park.

Day 8 - Arusha
Transfer to the closest airstrip for a scheduled flight to Arusha (when staying at Sayari Camp -Mara River -the closest airstrip is Kogatende. When staying at Sayari Camp -Moru Kopjes -the closest airstrip is Seronera). Meet and greet at Arusha Airport and transfer to Rivertrees Country Inn to relax, lunch, take a swim in the lovely pool. Arrive for lunch.

Day 9 - Ruaha National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha airport for a morning flight to Ruaha National Park. Meet and greet at Msembe airstrip, transfer to Mdonya Old River Camp, enjoy a game drive on the way and lunch. This lovely bush camp is set in natural surroundings on the banks of a sand river which game use as a corridor. Dinner under the stars to the sound of crickets singing.

Day 10 - Ruaha National Park
Relax in the southern bush, enjoy two game drives a day or one full day drive with picnic. See the fabled Ruaha National Park with its enormous population of lion, and over 520 species of birds. You may be lucky enough to see African Hunting Dogs, Sable and Roan antelope. You will certainly see elephant, giraffe and the shy Kudu.

Day 11 - Ruaha National Park
Relax in the southern bush, enjoy two game drives a day or one full day drive with picnic.

Day 12 - Selous Game Reserve
After Breakfast transfer to the airstrip for flight to Selous, landing at Mtemere Airstrip. Meet & greet at airstrip, transfer by road to camp. Take a relaxed lunch in our thatched restaurant with its well-stocked bar. In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the enormous Rufiji River with its huge population of hippo, crocodile and water birds. Dinner is provided under the stars by the rippling river.

Day 13 - Selous Game Reserve
Game drive, lunch, afternoon game drive or boat trip on the enormous Rufiji River with its myriad of oxbows, deltas and lakes. Then back to camp for dinner.

Game drive in the morning. Lunch. Evening game drive or boat trip. Dinner.

Day 15 - SW Zanzibar
After Breakfast transfer to Airstrip for flight to Zanzibar. Arrival Zanzibar - Meet and greet at Zanzibar Airport, transfer by car to Mbweni Ruins Hotel. Lunch at Mbweni in the Raintree restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean. Relax by the pool in the afternoon or go into Stone Town on the free hotel shuttle to wander round the narrow streets and shop in the markets and boutiques. Dinner to the sound of bushbabies and waves on the shore below. Overnight in one of our comfortable suites overlooking the gardens and beach.

Day 16 - SW Zanzibar
Visit Zanzibar's famous Stone Town for a guided tour around the most interesting sights, including the Anglican Cathedral on the slave market, the Palace, House of Wonders and the Old Fort.

Day 17 - SW Zanzibar
Visit Zanzibar Spice Plantations and palaces. Return for lunch and relax in the afternoon or return to Stone Town on the hotel shuttle for more exploration and shopping before returning to the hotel for a leisurely dinner.

Day 18 - NE Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to Matemwe Bungalows - located on the East Coast of Zanzibar island - right opposite Mnemba Atoll.
