At Kono Kono all the villas are large, very well finished complete with plunge pool and with plenty of space from one room to the next but the real beauty of this place is the beach.

Many resorts / hotels on Zanzibar often claim to have ‘the best beach’ but we have been lucky enough to visit them all and the beach at Kono Kono is a winner, assuming you like your beaches virtually deserted and swimmable all day with sunsets over the sea in the evening. Add to this some spongy white powder sand and a long sweeping wild palm fringed coast and you have the idea. Luckily, thanks to the resorts local connections the whole area has now been designated as a conservation area so nothing else will be built nearby.
